Overview

Background & Policy context

The Action targets the deployment of charging points which rely on 100% renewable electricity, contributing to the objectives of the European Green Deal. This Action has been selected in the context of the CEF Blending facility Call, where the CEF support is coupled with a substantial investment by a financial institution.

Objectives

The project aims to develop a trans-European network of High Power Charging (HPC) stations by deploying 326 HPC stations in France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg, out of which 202 HPC stations along the Core and Comprehensive networks and 124 HPC stations in urban nodes of the TEN-T network.

The locations of the stations will ensure a significant density coverage of the Core and Comprehensive networks of the five countries with one charging station located at least every 150 km.
