Results

10 types of surface and their recipes were set to be examined. To improve the acoustic long-term behavior were partially materials such as EOS, Famsa or Gasperini chosen. In addition rubber granules were mixed to individual surfaces.

The selected surface types were shared with the cantons. Cantons should installed  the surface on suitable test tracks. All test sections are tested on existing roads, provided with new surfaces due to construction and / or noise reasons.

In addition to this were 9 other  a few years ago built coverings in the research program comprised, that were considered low noise.
